File Hire Plant (Pty) Ltd. was established during the mid-seventies and was part of the Anglovaal Group until 1990, when the current managing director took over by means of a management buy-out. Since then, we have established an operational network in all major centres in South Africa.
To best suit our infrastructure and service demands from customers, we are currently operating from regional offices which in turn manage and service the various customer operations in their respective areas.
Due to the wide range of plant, equipment and industrial products which is offered for rental and sale by File Hire Plant and File Industrial Products, we had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction, engineering and marine industry.

Due to demand from plant rental activities, File Industrial Products was established during 2004 to service the needs of customers with regards to the sale of industrial products.
This division specialises in the procurement (importing & local) and sale of welding equipment and consumables, construction tools and equipment, engines and spare parts, engineering consumables, lifting, safety and protective products as well as general consumables and industrial products.
